Delivered new to Hoffman Motors in New York, January 1, 1958 thisSpeedster quickly made its way to California where it remained witha long-term owner in very original condition. At some point in itslife it received a re-paint to red over the original Fjord Greenpaint. In 2015, 84375 was discovered in static storage in aCalifornia with the front bumper removed. The overall condition wasfound to be very original throughout and a thorough mechanicservice was performed to bring it back to roadworthiness. It wasthen sold to its next caretaker who performed a quality re-paint inits original 5705B Fjord Green color. In 2022 noted CaliforniaPorsche service shop Markham Motor Works performed a major servicein preparation for a CA Highway 1 road adventure. Records from2021-2022 total approximately $15,000.00. In 2023/24 a thorough inspection and detailing was performedincluding: Dry ice cleaning of the underside, new rubbers installedon the bumpers and door handles, new horn grills and rubbers, thesteering wheel was restored, and a complete detail of the paint andpreservation of the interior. • Previous Long-term Ownership• Pulled from Long-Term Storage in 2015, Then Received a ThoroughBumper to Bumper Mechanical Servicing• Followed by a documented 2022 Mechanical Restoration Performed byMarkham Motor Works - Addressed all Mechanical Systems, Auxileries,and Powertrain• Solid Original Body and Chassis• Body Number Stampings "375" which matches the last three digitsof the VIN number are found stamped on the rear deck lid anddoors.• Original Numbered Matching Keys• Power is provided by a solid, Zenith carbureted numbers-matchingengine and transmission• Correct drum brakes covered by 4� x15" 1957 date coded wheels andmoon caps.• Restored Original 12/57 Dated Fuel Tank• Weather Equipment Includes Black Cloth Top with SideCurtains.
