With just over 44,500 ACTUAL MILES on an ACTUAL MILEAGE TITLE, this 1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville is finished in beautiful Gotham Gold over Cream White interior. Replaced some fuel lines, a fuel filter, added a new sending unit for the fuel gauge, did a clean and adjust on all four brakes, changed the fluids and filters, and gave it a fresh tune-up to go with the added A/C. Mechanically and functionally, it is a joy to drive, and everything but the original clock works the way it should including all of the exterior and interior lights, factory AM Radio, Horn, wipers, power windows, power seat, remote mirror, fuel gauge, temp gauge, dummy lights, and turn signals. It starts up and idles clean, with no smoke or leaks evident. Paint is clean, glossy, and shows great, but it has some small chips in it in spots, and is not concourse perfect. Same can be said for the chrome and bright work on the car. 95% is really outstanding, but the bumpers, some parts, and original emblems show patina and age that we thought looked cool, so we left it alone. Glass is all solid and clear with the exception of the passenger front window that has a small crack and light laminate bubbling on the bottom front. The prior owner said it was like that when he bought it 20 years ago, and never got worse, so we let it be. It rides on OEM type wheels and caps with wide whitewall bias-ply tires on them. They look great, but like all bias-ply get a little too happy following grooves in the road, so a set of radials might be a nice option. The first photos show it in the lowest position, which is still drivable at low speeds like a parking lot of a show or long, slow boulevard crawl. Then I added a pic of it at normal ride height to show comparison. That is where we have been driving it about 90% of the time, although you do need to raise it for large inclines and speed bumps.
