You can see the evidence of that everywhere you look around the vehicle. Unfortunately the project was 95% done when he developed cancer and soon after passed away.He truly built the car as a dream project and did exactly what most of us would if we were feeling our mortality and wanted to knock another line off our bucket list! A deep savings account really helps and he was not afraid to write the checks to make it a reality.So what we have here is a perfect blend of Show and GO! The paintwork is nearly flawless and the interior is the same. All the brightwork is new or redone and looks fantastic. There is not a wave or bad panel gap to be found. That handles most of the SHOW.The GO is where it really gets fun! It all starts with a TCI front sub-frame and suspension. Follow that with frame ties from the same manufacturer and a TCI rear 4 link and coilovers to match. All were professional installed and handle like a modern sports car. On each corner is a brand new CCP Big Brake kit with slotted and drilled rotors. This car will stop on a microscopic dime. The engine is an absolute masterpiece! The Dart block stroked small block is mated with aluminum Dart heads and the resulting 427 cubic inches is astounding. The Heavenly exhaust note that results is like a choir of Angels singing. I would never use the Apple/Android car play ready stereo since it would be a shame not to hear the melody from tha Flowmaster exhaust system.The 650+ hp is managed through a Tremec 5 speed manual transmission that shifts like warm butter. It is then manhandled to the pavement through a Currie Ford 9 inch with 4:11 gears. To say it’s scary fast would be a huge understatement! This car runs like it’s pissed off everywhere it goes, if that’s what you want. It is also very streetable and easy to drive if you can keep your foot from stomping on the go juice. I struggle with that option but it will cruise you around nicely if you have the restraint to do so.Other notable options are a full analog gauge set, Alluminum radiator with shrouded dual electric fans, Reclining retro low back bucket seats, Boyd Coddington smoothie 17 inch wheels, 2.5 inch full exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, All glass is near perfect, All light and blinkers work like new, Flaming River tilt steering wheel, Hurst close ratio shifter, Rack and pinion steering with sway her notable options are a full analog gauge set, Alluminum radiator with shrouded dual electric fans, Reclining retro low back bucket seats, Boyd Coddington smoothie 17 inch wheels, 2.5 inch full exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, All glass is near perfect, All light and blinkers work like new, Flaming River tilt steering wheel, Hurst close ratio shifter, Rack and pinion steering with sway bar control, Completly detasiled undercarriage with bed liner coating, New Gas Tank, Right Rear mounted in trunk battery with cut off switch,Four Speaker premium stereo with amp, Perfect headliner, Like new tires and soooo much more!So if you want to scratch that itch for muscle and get yourself something new for the garage this is the car for you. If you want to hit the boulevard on a Friday night looking like “The Man” in a proper piece automotive history, this may be your next ride. If you want to blow the doors off that Import Ricer in the lane next to you you have found the car to make that happen, no doubt! I have loved owning it but need more room in my horsepower garage so it’s time to let someone else run this stallion down the highway!
