Featured in its original color Medium Green Metallicwith black bucket seats and black power convertible top. Believed to have had just one repaint in its original color thiscar has remained mostly in original condition. With options aspower steering and brakes, 3-speed Torqueflite automatictransmission and power convertible top this Mopar is a funride.The interior of the car with the front seats needing to bereupholstered, again remains in mainly original condition, andfeatures a center console with woodgraining and Chrysler SolidState AM radio. Being a New England car it unfortunately has some typical corrosionthat would be expected with a car of this vintage. The frame hasbeen professionally patched below the A-pillars (as shown in thephotos), and currently the trunk area of the vehicle will berequiring professional metal work. The exterior body of the carappears to be corrosion free but does have a large dent on theright-side rear quarter panel with associated scrapes in thepaint. The stock 318 cubic inch motor with 2-barrel carburetor comes to aquick start and drives comfortably down the road. Due to the age ofthe motor a lead additive is used during fuel fill-ups. The Blackpower convertible top works well with a little help which istypical for a large roof. Other defects noticed were an inoperablespeedometer and gas gauge. Although requiring some garage tinkering and underside metal workthis 1969 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible is a great start, no needto miss the nice weather, drive this classic Mopar while the workis being done.
