Description:
1970 IH 1200D 4x4 Travelall. This 3/4 ton 4x4 Travelall still hasthe original 345, but has been rebuilt with .030' over pistons, aslightly modified Isky cam and an Edelbrock carburetor. Other thanthat, it is stock. The radiator has been rebuilt with a new core,but the A/C is disabled. Transmission is a cast iron, Borg Warner3-speed automatic which works well. The driveline is good includingthe 4-wheel drive. Brakes are decent and the truck is roadworthy todrive. I've taken it on many road trips it has never left mestranded.There is a 6000# Warn winch on the front which works well,and in the back is the preferred 'barn door' set up. This is not a'rust free truck'. It needs some body work on the front floorswhere the cab mounts are located. The rest of the floors are solidand the frame has no issues. The rear quarters need some attentionand it is kind of crusty around the edges in back. Front innerfenders are nice including the areas where the hood hinges mount.Do the body work, some fresh paint, re-seal some leaks, and thistruck will be a really nice, unique sought after Travelall.
