Description:
1970 MG MGB Roadster. I have owned it for 2+ years and doneextensive work during that time. The car runs and drives great, buthas some rust on the body (not structural). I've replaced thecarpet and gone through the car mechanically to make it a gooddriver. It is reliable, and has a working heater and Bluetoothradio. Overdrive works great and cruises on the freeway smoothly.I've driven this car to and from Tahoe, as well as around the lake,with no issues. This MGB has black interior and new red carpet. Theseats are in decent shape but have a few tears. I believe these areoriginal. The dash has a crack but otherwise all the gauges andlights work correctly. I've installed battery/storage boxes fromMoss in the battery trays, one houses the battery and the other isused for storage. I've installed retractable 3 point seatbelts onboth driver and passenger seats. I do not have the soft top forthis car, but I have a nice aftermarket hardtop. I prefer this setup and look personally. I also have the half-tonneau cover that Iuse when driving topless. This MG does have some rust on thefenders and lower rocker. I've had the carpet out and temporarilyrepaired the rusty floorboards by installing fiberglass sheets thelengths of the floor. I can share photos of this so you can see thecondition of the floorboards before and after the repairs. It doesleak a little water when driving in the rain, and should be coveredduring storage so water does not get in. I've kept it in a garageand only driven it on dry days since I've had it. Overall, it is agood running 1970 MG MGB Roadster with a need for some body work.The car has a clean title and current registration in my name andcan be driven home wherever you live. List of new parts that havebeen installed, all new unless stated otherwise.
