As you can see in the ad and in the picturesthis is a true 34467 vin making it an extremely rare Oldsmobile. In1970 they made 19,230 442s but out of those only 2,993 wereconvertibles! This 442 is powered by a 455ci V8 mated to aautomatic transmission making it one enjoyable car to drive! A truegentlemen's muscle car! This specific 442 has been owned by anolder gentlemen in NY for the last 30 years until we added it toour collection. He always cherished this car and had it parked inthe garage right next to a Plymouth Fury convertible that hisfather bought new in 1965. He had the 455 in this Oldsmobilerebuilt 10 years ago but only put 15k miles on it since. This carspaint shows very well, the white interior is in near perfect shape!As you can see in the pictures we have an original looking radio toreplace the 90s style radio that is currently in it. Under the hoodlooks pretty close to exactly how it did when it left the factory.It has Mastercraft white letter tires. The convertible top willkeep you dry if you got caught in the rain but looks to be theoriginal one and shows it age. The undercarriage of thisconvertible seems to be all original and is very solid with no rotor any signs of patches. This 442 will not last long as there isonly a handful for sale on the internet! This is an Iconic musclecar! If you have been looking for a 70 442 do not drag your feet onthis one!
