Cleveland V-8, which reportedly was enhanced with a number of performance and dress-up items years ago, including an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, finned valve covers and braided steel hoses. Recent maintenance and tune-up service includes a new Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, electric fuel pump, water pump, Davis Unified Ignition performance distributor, valve cover gaskets, belts and hoses. the engine âpurrs, â starting easily â and without smoke â with the assistance of the electric fuel pump. It is matched with a reportedly smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission and no leaks are reported from either powertrain component. the exterior was painted Burgundy Metallic approximately 25 years ago, which included disassembling the body for the work and sanding the body panels between coats.
