For over 50 years this has been a one-family truck. My father bought it new in 1972 and drove it about 12,000 miles over the next 12 years. I inherited it in 1984 and it was my daily driver for 14 years until I bought a new truck in 1998. I drove it periodically over the next 10 years, then gave it to my grandson to work on to give him something challenging to do. I got it back in 2016, then had a complete $9000 engine rebuild done in 2019 by Ed Martin Garage in Riverside, a well-known and highly reputable classic auto restoration shop.
