The previous owner notes that it was restored in 2015 and has only 1.500 miles since restoration. It has new brakes with stainless steel lines. new suspension. new exhaust. new clutch. freshly tuned carburetors. new steering bushings. aluminum radiator. The transmission was also rebuilt at this time. The interior is new and shows very well. This is an excellent running and handling example. The Triumph GT6 is a 6-cylinder sports coupe that was built by Standard-Triumph and based on their popular Triumph Spitfire convertible from 1966-1973. In early 1963. Standard-Triumph commissioned Giovanni Michelotti (notable for designing many models including several for Ferrari & Maserati) to design a GT version of the new Spitfire lin.
