He says he has kept the red Alfa garaged when not in useand was told previous owners had done the same. The miles shown arebelieved to be original and accurate, and the seller does notbelieve the car has ever been in an accident. The Carfax report,which picks up the car's history in 1991, shows no reportedaccident damage since that time.Alfa Romeo built therear-wheel-drive Spider from 1966 until 1995, making it one of thelongest-running sports cars ever. ThePininfarina-designed-and-assembled car received upgrades and designfreshening over the decades. Throughout its run, the Alfa Spiderstuck to a mechanical formula of light weight; a twin-cam, aluminumfour-cylinder engine; a five-speed manual transmission; andfour-wheel disc brakes.
