The car looks spectacular, runs great, and is anexcellent driver. The Jaguar is finished in the beautiful andhighly desirable color combination of red over tan leather interiorwith a black soft top. The other original books and manuals arestill with the car. The low original mileage is also verified notonly by the condition of the car, but also by the clear Ohio titleshowing the mileage as "Actual." We have recently put about 30 miles on this XJS. During that timethe car was completely reliable, had no issues at all, and was atrue pleasure to drive. There is a copy of the AutoCheck report in this ad. The report istotally clean, shows no accident history, and verifies the lowmileage. Many in the classic car industry are saying that this bodystyle XJS is the next classic generation of Jaguar that is startinggoing up in value. One could easily buy this car now and sell itfor more than the purchase price in years to come. Exterior The red exterior is in excellent driver condition. As one can seein the photos, the paint has a smooth finish. Both doors open andshut nicely. The alloy wheels are in great shape with a niceappearance and no major curb rash. The Michelin tires have plentyof tread left and are sized 235/60R15. There are no majorimperfections that have been intentionally excluded from thephotos. As one would expect from a paintjob with many years on itthere are some very small blemishes around the car and somecloudiness that are too faint so show up in the photos, but nothingthat is really noticeable from about five feet or ten away. ThisJaguar has no rust issues. As one can see in the many photos of theunderside, this XJS Convertible is very clean underneath. We havealso included specific photos of the rockers, lower front and rearquarter panels, and other areas on the car most prone to rust toshow how nice it looks. Interior The tan leather interior of the XJS Convertible looks absolutelyfantastic. All of the gauge faces are crisp and clean and thelenses are clear. The dash is in excellent condition with nocracks, fading, or sun fading. This car has never been smoked in;there is no aroma of cigarettes what so ever and no burn marks. Theseats look just as great in person as they do in the photos with noholes or split seams. The seat is not overly worn in the typicalarea on the bolster where the driver gets in and out, just a smallamount of wear there. The carpet also looks great with no stains,rips, or holes. The black convertible soft-top is in good conditionoverall with no frayed edges, but one small cut on the left side.The top boot is included with the car. The original door panels arein nice shape overall and both door pulls are solid. The car has amore modern radio, but the original radio is also included. Thereis some cracking in the woodgrain inside. The trunk is very cleanand nicely detailed with the original full size matching rim. Jaguar interiors from this era are not know to wear well over time,especially for a convertible, and the excellent condition of thisinterior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attentionthis Jaguar has received throughout its life and another greatverification of the low original mileage. Mechanical This XJS Convertible appears to be in very nice mechanicalcondition and it is ready to be enjoyed. As stated above we haverecently put about 30 miles on this car with absolutely noproblems. The twelve-cylinder engine starts right away every timeand idles smooth. It is an exceptional driver that feels great onthe road and at highway speeds. In the video one can observe thecar accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting throughall the gears, braking to a stoplight, and going through somecurves. Please note that it runs great, there are no strange noisesor vibrations, and the car performs quite well overall. The brakesare responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. There isno blue smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool anddoes not overheat. Also, the engine bay is clean, nicely detailed,and correct as one can see from the photos. Please note in the video the dash warning lights; they light upwhen the key is first turned on and then go off when the engine isstarted just as they should. There are no "check engine" lightsthat stay on. The horn works as do the fog lights, headlights,brights, turn signals, interior lights, indicators, dash gaugeslights, wipers, rear window defroster, power windows, and powerlocks. The power convertible top works properly going down. Goingup the top will get most of the way, but then needs a hand at theend of the cycle. All of the gauges work. The blower for the heaterand a/c works, but only on high and the a/c does not blow cold. Wecannot get the heated seats to go on. The radio works, but wecannot get the power antenna to go up. Not enough can be said as tohow much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with thetop down on a beautiful day. Overall Condition Overall, this 1991 Jaguar XJS Convertible is in excellent conditionand is a true bargain at our asking price. This car is a premiumexample; it is very clean with low miles and a clear AutoCheckhistory. This Jaguar is a great value and will only appreciate overtime. Someone could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years andsell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort. Other sellers are not taking the time to show the car is in suchgreat detail to give such an in-depth description, the massiveamount of photos, and the extensive and detailed video showing thecar driving and all of its functions. This information is veryvaluable and important for pricing. Any perspective buyer, for anyof our vehicles or from other sellers, should ask for all thisinformation before he or she makes a purchase.
