We just completed a completerestoration starting with a new Marsland galvanized chassis andrestoring up from there. This 110 is equipped with a 200 TDI, matedwith LT-77 five speed manual transmission. This is truly anexceptional build, with no detail left Overlooked. The Exterior Wefinished this 110 in Land Rover Bonatti Grey. The color is justoutstanding and has an amazing look in different types of light.All body panels with the exception of the tub sides are new,including all 5 doors and a galvanized bulkhead. We equipped thisDefender with Masai Panoramic windows, and all door glass andwindscreen are new as well. For the ultimate safety, with added aNew Safety Devices Exterior roll cage. Up front is a new bumperwith LED Fog lamps and the rear has a NAS style step. To add to theupgrades, we swapped out all the lights for LEDs for safety and thebest visibility. The exterior is finished off with a Puma bonnet, 5new wheels from Lucari Solutions, and Fire and Ice side steps. TheSuspensionThis Defender drives beautifully aided by new Land Roversprings and Bilstein Shocks all around. Additionally, we replacedmany of the bushings as they did not meet our standards orexpectations.The Interior A Ministry of Defender Puma Dash withleather accents is fantastic upgrade from the stock Rover dash. Weupgraded the heating system to a combined air-conditioning/heaterunit. This is a much more efficient system then the stock model, asit looks to change the cabin air verses always attempting to changeoutside air. The front and middle row captain chairs offer anoutstanding look and cubby boxes made by Lucari. The front seatsare equipped with heaters as well. Under the new carpet andheadliner, Dynamat sound deadening had been installed throughoutthe truck. Within the dash sits a modern entertainment system bySony, which incorporates Apple CarPlay and a backup camera.Beautiful headliner side panels made by Lucari Solutions completethe interior. Added sunlight is made possible by the sunroof. TheMechanical We stripped this 200 TDI and installed a new head gasketinstalled. From there we rebuilt the top of the engine. Weinstalled a new injector pump and have rebuilt all of the fuelinjectors as well. As Rovers are prone to leak, we completelyresealed the engine with all new gaskets and hoses. In addition tonew fuel lines, we installed a new fuel pump. We upgraded theexhaust to a stainless steel for improved operation and longevity.The entire braking system is new; brake master cylinder, stainlesssteel brake lines, converted the rear drums to a caliper set up.All cooling hoses are new as well as a new radiator. The entiresteering system is new as truck was converted from right hand driveto left. The transmission, a LT-77 5 speed, shifts smoothly with anew LOF clutch installed. In addition, the clutch master, slavecylinder and piping all new.The RestI have described this vehicleto the best of my ability. This 110 is available for viewing, and Iencourage any serious buyer to perform a PPI (Pre-PurchaseInspection). There are several reputable shops in the area for youto choose from.
