STK 3853 2001 Plymouth Prowler The Prowler was Chrysler's retro-styled production car based on the1993 concept car of the same name. It was manufactured and marketedby Plymouth/Chrysler from 1997 until 2002. The Prowler'sfront-engine and rear-transaxle configuration facilitated an almostperfect 50-50 front-rear weight distribution. Originally conceivedand designed as a coupe by car designer Chip Foose, it was modifiedto be a roadster for production. Featuring predominately aluminumconstruction, Prowlers were assembled by hand at Chrysler's CAAPDetroit facility. This unique performance car is powered byChrysler's SOHC 3.5L 24-V fuel-injected engine. The aluminum V-6produces 253bhp at 6400 RPM, more than enough to propel thislightweight roadster. Its semi-automatic 4-speed/OD 'Autostick'transaxle can be driven as an automatic or shifted manually. This2001 Plymouth Prowler has been with its current owner for the lasteight years and has been carefully maintained. The Sunset Orangeexterior is in outstanding condition with factory alloy-spokewheels sport Goodyear performance radials. The Black leatherinterior and manually operated fabric convertible top (w/glasswindow) are also in very good condition. Features include A/C,power tinted windows, power locks, tilt wheel and premiumAM/FM/cassette sound system. The roadster's strong, lightweightaluminum chassis is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel powerdisc brakes. The Plymouth Prowler is a modern-day 'deuce roadster'that is comfortable, fun to drive and dependable. ALL VEHICLES SOLD"AS IS."
