The Chrysler Crossfire is a rear-wheel drive, two-seat sports carthat was sold by Chrysler and built by Karmann of Germany for the2004 to 2008 model years. Developed during the union of Daimler andChrysler, the two-seater is based on the Mercedes-Benz R170platform which shares 80% of its components with thefirst-generation SLK. The second-generation SLK was built on a newR171 platform starting in the 2005 model year; the R170 platformwas essentially handed down to Chrysler for use in building theCrossfire. Having initially arrived in 2001 as a concept car styledby Eric Stoddard, the Chrysler was further refined by Andrew Dysonbefore production beganGr Auto Gallery, LLC and our sister company, Wheelz Sales andLeasing Inc. makes every effort to represent each vehicleaccurately and with integrity.
