The only way you couldget a GT500 in 2007 was with a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manualtransmission, offering a dynamic driving experience that's trulyexhilarating. This Mustang is not just about power, it's alsoequipped with upgraded suspension to help control the power withrace-tune suspension, four-piston Brembo brakes, BMR lower controlarms as well as the welded relocation brackets to keep the frontend in line. Inside, the GT500 received Charcoal Black leather thatoffered more lateral support than those available in the regularMustangs and featured an embossed coil snake insignia. Satin-finishaluminum trim surrounds the white-faced gauges with a boost gauge.The speedometer and tachometer swapped positions and the SVT logoin the tachometer lit-up when the engine approached the red-line sothat the driver could more easily see when to shift. For a littleextra flair, the gauge illumination could be switched between ared/blue combination and all white. A unique steering wheel wasinstalled that featured palm grips and was leather wrapped with redstitching.
