To commemorate the amazing season Porsche introduced the Boxster RS 60 Spyder in 2008, a limited production of 1960 units featuring GT Silver exterior, Carrera Red interior, unique ground effects and 19" wheels, sport suspension and exhaust, an extra 10 horsepower over the regular Boxster S, not to mention every creature comfort Porsche had to offer. This RS 60 is a 6-speed manual and was ordered with black carpet and top. It is sporting less then 39,000 miles and is in excellent overall condition with fresh tires installed in 2023. The 3.4 liter, normally aspirated flat six has great power with lots of low end torque you expect in a Porsche. The Boxster mid engine layout makes it arguably the best handling convertible sports car in the world. In sport mode, the exhaust note is simply intoxicating. These are luxurious and comfortable cars with ample luggage space, making them ideal grand tourers. Porsches are special cars and the special edition ones like this Boxster RS 60 Spyder are especially so.
