The engine in this CJ7 is reported to be original, with no rebuild history, but with a new alternator and a rebuilt radiator. The engine is said to start properly and produce no smoke. The manual transmission is described as rebuilt, the seller noting that “shifting is smooth.” A weep from the rocker cover gasket is noted. The engine bay presents as clean. EXTERIOR According to the seller, the aluminum body tub was fabricated by Aqualu, with a custom fiberglass front end that incorporates a winch position. The seller notes small worn areas in the custom-mixed Pearl Gray paint near one hood latch and the driver’s-side front fender. The soft top and folding rear seat are from Bestop and appear to be in good condition. The seller states that rust was “eliminated” during the CJ7’s rebuild, but the Jeep has “normal rust” underneath. All windows, including the side glass, are described as clean and undamaged. All lights are said to function properly. INTERIOR The Jeep is reported to have new Bestop seating that shows no tears or other damage. The floor has a rubber mat, but carpeting will reportedly be included in the sale. A lever has reportedly replaced the fan knob.
