Based on the sixth-generation Corvette, the Rossi SixtySix was clearly inspired by the classic C2 Sting Ray, with its dramatic, bespoke body—including a rear split window—draped over the C6 chassis. Even the instrument panel was customized to mimic the appearance of the Sting Ray dashboard. The car’s dramatic style caught the eye of Jay Leno who featured it on his Web series. Only one was built and this is it. The 2007 Rossi SixtySix is said to be in very good condition, showing 61,000 miles on the odometer. It also has a clean CARFAX vehicle history report. FEATURES The Rossi SixtySix was envisioned to be produced in quantity, but only one was built.Almost every original exterior body panel was replaced with custom panels.The rear split-window design emulates the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray.The high-mounted center stop lamp is cleverly incorporated in the rear-window split.Even the roof panel is custom and incorporates the “spine” of the split window.Custom Glacier White paint is original to the build and said to be in very good condition.There are custom headlights and taillights.Under the retro “stinger”-type hood is the car's original LS2 6.0-liter OHV V8 engine.Enhancements have elevated the engine’s output to a reported 450 horsepower.A custom carbon fiber cover dresses the top of the engine.In addition to a Borla exhaust system, there are also custom 5-inch exhaust tips.Backing the engine is a six-speed manual transmission.The Alcantara suede interior was reimagined, as well, with a custom, C2-inspired dash.Suede accent trim is used on the seats and instrument panel.The dashboard also incorporates a custom audio system and touchscreen display.Custom wheels include 19 x 9.5-inch front wheels and 20 x 12-inch rear wheels.Micheline Pilot Sport tires are mounted on the three-piece forged rims. COMES WITH A new set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires comes with the car.It also comes with a clean CARFAX vehicle history report. NEEDS There are no reported needs. OVERVIEW This is the one and only Rossi SixtySix produced.The car is based on a 2007 Corvette, including its LS2 powertrain.Engine output is said to be 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.The exterior and interior were customized with C2-inspired design cues.The car rolls on 19- and 20-inch wheels and comes with a new set of tires. DOCUMENTATION The seller states that this vehicle will be sold on a clean Michigan title in his name. It’s the only Rossi SixtySix produced and is based on the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette.
