This âBig Coupeâ has the legendary S38 straight six engine with individual throttle bodies mated to a ZF 5 speed transmission and limited slip differential in a rear wheel drive setup. This vehicle is not perfect but is amazing to drive!Below are the details for what has been done on the car.The new suspension and performance exhaust is an incredible combination. The car is the perfect GT cruiser, soaking up bumps while also having tight handing in the curves. At Wide Open Throttle from 4,500 to 6,500 RPMâs the best way I can describe the sound is âeargasmic!â The induction sounds combined with the sportsexhaust by BB sound like no other car I have heard! With todayâs boosted engines, and noise ordinances,I highly doubt any car of the modern age sounds like this magnificent S38 M6!-Clubsport suspension package from Korman Auto comprising:-New Bilstein coil over shocks set to euro ride height(replacing rear auto level control)-Front and rear sway bars and sway links-New upper and lower control arms and tie rods and otherthings-Tightened up steering box for recirculating ball-New cat-back stainless steel sport exhaust by Billy Boat (resonatordelete - sounds amazing !!!)-New catalytic converters and pipe section-New exhaust hanging clips-New bushings between frame and rear suspension-Tightened and replaced transmission linkages for muchtighter shifting-Repaired distributor cap for ignition (was having starting/ignition issues)-All new spark plugs-Replaced trunk rubber seal-Flushed brake lines, new front brake hoses-Replaced fuel filter-Cleaned high beam headlight lenses of haze-Installed gray dashboard cover to hide split dash leather-Replaced stereo with a retro-style head unit that has USBand aux inputs-Tinted windows in ceramic 20% all around-Replaced BMW badge on front hood-Replaced //M shift knob-New OEM //M re-wrapped leather steering wheel (original currently installed)-Full interior Leather restoration/re-dyeing in Lotus White (looks amazing!)-New Coco Gray and Black Checkered Floor Mats â 4 pieces!-New Steering Box (hard to find!
