We recently acquired this real "RM23H" 1969 RoadRunner from a local guy who told us that this car was "frame-off" restored in 2015/2016 and by the looks of things he did a pretty nice job. It definitely was nice enough to go out and have some fun in and cruise around with however in our minds, it was still in need a few miscellaneous items, updates and repairs to put it over the top so we fixed what was needed, added a few nice features and stepped this beautiful Road Runner up to the next level of nice!! CHECK IT OUT!! First of all we added the "A12" lift off hood!! It is NOT a real "A12" car! The body is very straight, very solid and very clean including the floors, trunk and frame and the "Vitamin-C" paint is very nice with a deep luster and show-car shine. It also has very nice chrome, trim and weatherstripping too. The black bucket seat with factory console and shifter is also in very nice condition including the seats, carpets, door panels and headliner. We added a new Dakota Digital "VHX" instrument panel that is fully functional and very cool !! It is all VERY-VERY NICE!!Power comes from a 440c.i. - 4bbl. engine that we were told, was rebuilt during the restoration process. Unfortunately, I have no documentation to back it up but i can say for sure that it runs strong and sounds awesome! It is backed up by a crisp shifting "727" Torq-Flight automatic transmission and an original sure grip posi rear w/3:23 gears.Other features include power steering, power brakes, headers with Flow-Master dual exhaust, 15" steel wheels wrapped in Red-line Radial tires and lots-lots more! This RoadRunner is really cool looking with its "A12" (lift-off hood) look but best of all she runs, rides and drives really nice too!!NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!!
