Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando Florida is proud to present thisClassic 1937 Chrysler Airflow. The Chrysler Airflow was introducedin 1934. The Airflow was a series of streamlined full size sedansand coupes that were some of the first cars to be designed usingthe help of a wind tunnel. While the Airflow was an attempt toshift automotive design, the model was largely rejected, with thepublic favoring more traditionally designed Chrysler models. Whilethe Airflow was a stand-alone model, its styling was also used forthe contemporary Chrysler Imperial (3rd Gen). Although all U.S.market Airflows were fitted with an inline eight engine, CanadianAirflows were available with an inline six engine. Production ofthe Chrysler Airflow only lasted until 1937, with Chrysler phasingout the model's radical styling. This beautiful example featuresthe inline 8 Cylinder engine mated to a 3 Speed manualtransmission. If you really want to stand out in the crowd. This isthe one you want to own.
