Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1952 MG TD Roadster. ThisTD underwent a complete frame-off restoration about 10 years agoand has been garaged and driven sparingly since. Paint and bodypresent to a show-quality standard and it's certainly one of thenicest we've seen. Finished in the the lovely TD factory shade ofClipper Blue, it's nice departure from the more commonly seen redor green. Excellent bumpers, chrome, trim, grille, wheels andhubcaps. Interior presents nicely with correct Rexine dash covering, blackcarpets, and biscuit seat upholstery (door panels and seatingsurfaces are in excellent condition). Original banjo steering wheelhas an attractive leather wrap. Side curtains and canvasconvertible top are in brand new condition and have never beeninstalled on the car (since restoration this car has been garagedand never driven in the rain). Under the hood is the correct XPAG 1250 cc four-cylinder enginemated to a four-speed manual gearbox. Drivetrain and suspensionwere fully overhauled during the restoration fewer than 10,000miles ago. Recent service includes a pair of new SU carburetors anda new battery. This TD starts easily and runs and drives well - itfeels far tighter and "put together" than most we have driven.
