The motor features Eagle H beam rods, Weiscoracing pistons, the heads arefully ported, and it has an Edelbrock pro flow fuel injectionsystem, polished stainless steelvalves, an aluminum radiator, and plenty of other Edelbrock goodiesto round out the build.Power is sent to the rear wheels through a turbo 350 transmissionand with a 3500 stallconverter and console-mounted B&M pro ratchet shifter. Afterthe transmission, power goesthrough the trick chassis Ford 9-inch rear end with spool and 370gearings.Done by Checkered Racing out of Indianapolis, IN, the frame is acustom one-off 2x3 squaretube. Sitting atop the frame is a straight and true body from aFiberfab MG TD replica, awell-known producer of fiberglass bodies and kit cars. Finished ina beautiful metallic orangepaint, the exterior is aggressive with the Vision wheels wrapped inthick Mickey Thompson ETStreet tires. Other exterior highlights include a side exitexhaust, roll bar, and LED headlights.All interior work was custom done by Nick Hardy of Hardy Upholsterylocated here in GrandRapids, MI. The beautiful two-tone leather is in great condition asare all interior trim pieces andthe RJS Racing harnesses. All gauges are from AutoMeter and there'seven a push-to-startbutton.With a fantastic suspension setup and Wilwood disc brakes at allfour corners, this MG TD is arocketship that hooks right up but can also stop on a dime. Thispro-street TD has been builtwith the highest level of skill and passion and it shows throughthe extremely high qualitythroughout.
