1960 190SL Mercedes Benz Beautiful survivor. This is a highly documented car, service records go back to 1971! Has original PHH44 Carburetors. The car was originally sold as a factory grey color. The first owner changed the color to signal red, a Mercedes factory color. Repainted in 1988. The upholstery including carpet, seats, and soft top, as well as the chrome were also redone at this time. A new steering wheel purchased from Mercedes was fitted to the car during the 1988 refresh. Maintenance receipts for the car date back to 1971, from the second owner. Receipts include records for work mechanical shop including general maintenance and brakes. An electrical switch for ignition is fitted to the vehicle, I'm not sure if this a factory feature. The vehicle has been stored in a heated garage for the past 10 years. The 190 has always been in an inside garage and not driven unless the weather allows for the top to be down. Current mileage is 106,147. The left door lock worn out prior to 1980 so it was replaced. The new lock is not keyed the same as the right side, resulting in right and left door keys. There is some rust in the floor pans, a patch panel replacement is recommended. (The hubcaps were not all on the car when the photos were taken, but are included with the car. ) This is an excellent concours restoration candidate or keep as is and have well preserved example of a legendary Mercedes Benz 190SL.
