The cabin has been reupholstered in tan leather, andappointments include triple SU carburetors, a tan soft top, 15?wire-spoke wheels, knock-off hubs, four-wheel disc brakes, aKenwood radio, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a limited-slipdifferential.Additional details include:A tan soft top,wing-mounted side-view mirrors, enclosed headlights, dual exhaustoutlets, and a chrome rear bumper with overriders. The body wasfinished from the factory in Cream, and the car was repainted inred under prior ownership.This XKE Series I roadster was acquiredby the selling dealer approximately three years ago, and it is nowoffered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Statement of Build and a cleanCalifornia title.The car is titled using its body number as theVIN. The body number, R2526, is shown in the photo gallery, and thecar was retitled under this number in August 2023. The JaguarHeritage Trust Statement of Build indicates that the vehiclebearing body number R2526 was manufactured on November 28, 1961.The15? wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-off hubs and aremounted with 185-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Braking isprovided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.Power is routed to the rear wheels through a fully synchronizedfour-speed manual transmission that has been installed in favor ofthe factory Moss unit.The seats and door panels have beenreupholstered in tan leather, and textured aluminum trim accentsthe dashboard and center console. Appointments include a slidingrear-view mirror, and a heater.The wood-rimmed steering wheelframes a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and 6k-rpm tachometer with aninset clock. Auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oilpressure, fuel level, and amperage are located in the center of thedashboard.The five-digit odometer shows 29,520 miles. Total mileageis unknown.
