This 1962 Land Rover Santana Series II is fresh from a nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration. The aluminum body is very straight and paint quality is excellent; bulkhead, frame and other rust-prone areas are completely solid. Zero known rust issues. Lenses, rubbers, etc. have been restored or replaced and show as new. Steel roll cage provides significantly better rollover protection than the standard hoop set. Soft top is new. The interior is certainly no-frills, but it has been restored to the same high standard as the exterior. Seat upholstery is new, gauges, switches, lights, etc. are working. Under the hood is the Land Rover 2.25 litre four-cylinder petrol engine; it's mated to a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. The engine, transmission, transfer case and axles were fully rebuilt when the truck was restored fewer than 200 km ago. Power brakes have also been fitted; tires are new. The truck starts, runs and drives like new. As a gasoline-powered, left-hand-drive model, it's certainly more appealing than the RHD Diesels being imported from the U. Still available at ListedBuy!
