This 1962 Mercury Comet is an original. The vehicle runs great. Absolutely no disappointments with this car. It is stunning. This is an absolutely stunning 1962 Mercury Comet Station Wagon. It's very rare to find one in this condition, let alone with rare period tuning equipment. Triple carbs and six branch Offenhauser intake manifold and original Edelbrock valve cover. Steel pack Smitty mufflers from '62. Original KMart FM converted radio. Also fitted is the very rare chrome roof rack and stainless fender skirts. Bodywork and paint are excellent. Interior is excellent too. However the door rubbers have some cracking and pieces missing here and there. There's a brand new battery fitted ( with old type cover ) Brand New '62 style Coker tires. This car has lived in California all it's life and is straight and rust free. And living in California all it's life it's solid underneath too. Runs and drives beautifully although it has been dry stored for just over a year. Viewing is welcome and encouraged. No disappointments with this car she is a beauty! Clean title.
