The heritagecertificate confirms its matching numbers and original colorcombination from new. Prior to its most recent ownership and restoration, the E-type hadbeen in the same ownership for 44 years, from June 1976 to 2020,its owner only selling due to age. Detailed records indicate hispurchase in June, 1976 at which time it had only covered 32k miles.During his ownership it was used only in the summer months andstored it in the winters. Always serviced regularly, in 1980/81 at52k miles, the Jag was repainted, the engine was rebuilt and thesuspension and brakes were all serviced. More recently and in its current ownership, this E-type wascompletely dismantled and fully rebuilt-restored. The restorationhas been photo documented to show the extent of the work and caretaken. This restoration was completed in 2019, no stone was left unturned.Absolutely everything has been restored as per original, everythingworks even the clock. The following upgrades have been completed tomake this E-type drive as well as it looks: Lumenition electronicignition (this retains the factory distributor). a high volumecooling fan, Weyland air filters, Koni shocks as well as a fullstainless steel exhaust system. This is an exceptionally restored E-type Series 1 Roadster, in asuperb color combination and ready for immediate, road use orconcours showing.
