It was a small, simple, right hand drive car and lightweight two-seater open-top sports car. This roadster has been considered the embodiment of the Lotus philosophy of performance through low weight and simplicity. With a small production of approximately 1310 units, the Super 7 was designed with racing in mind, and lightness was of primary concern to Chapman. The Lotus Super Seven was an inexpensive and fun car with considerable performance. It was created to be the perfect open sports car for the road. Designed has spawn a host of imitations on the kit car market, generally called Sevens or sevenesque roadsters. This Lotus Super Seven has vintage racing history from 2002-2008 and was an inexpensive and fun car with considerable performance from modest engines. This Super Seven is currently fitted with Ford Gold Seal 1600 cross flow and has a nice acceleration due to its extreme lightweight. The car is equipped with Twin weber carburetors, Exhaust Header and Race Muffler, Panasport Style Wheels, Fuel System, Pedal Systems, Electrical (battery and starter) set up for racing, the cars log books have entries that authenticate some enthusiastic racing. The car also comes with the original engine in a box. If a true Super Seven has been on your bucket list this car will thrill you. Finished in the traditional British racing green and gold wheels with just enough to put a big smile on your face. This summer will never be the same. We have gone thru the car and recent refurbishments include suspension work along with a new steering rack and some engine work. The end result is an honest, driveable, fun Super Seven.
