I bought this truck completely stock from the second owner while I was living in Austin Texas, he owned it about a year and used to to deliver furniture as a little side job. I bought the truck because of how solid it is and I love the patina it has. It has never been driven in Illinois. I lowered it about 5" using CPP drop spindles and coils. It was also originally a long bed, and I shortened the wheel base 12" to be the same as a short bed, giving it a more proportional look, as with a real short bed, the rear of the bed is 6" shorter, making it look too stubby. I work at a high end hot rod shop, so all the work is very professionally done, I can give more details of what I did if interested. After I got the truck to have the right look, it was time to update everything and make it reliable and functional. Here is a list of what has been done to it, Im sure I missed a few things! CPP 5" lowering kit using spindles and coils250ci straight 6T5 5 speed transmission Re-cored oversized radiator New gas tank and fuel pump New alternator New starter New exhaust Re built carb New blower motor and restored heater box New heater core and heater hoses New distributor comes with new in the box hei ignition New plug wires New clutch New drive shaft and u joints Sand blasted and painted rims Brand new tires New CPP brake booster and master cylinder Brand new disc brakes New brake lines Brand new steering box and rag joint Brand new inner and outer tie rod ends, pitman arm and idler arm All new upper and lower moog grease able ball joints New tail light assemblies New rear tail light wiring harness All new weather stripping and window seals New door sill platesNotes about picturesThere are a few pictures with the old front tires, the rims were sand blasted to clean metal and properly painted, not just painted over the old paint.
