This beautiful Santana Land Rover Series 2a is a recently completedrestoration, shipped from Spain to the U.S. It features a rebuilt2.25L Land Rover engine, tested to show factory compression, andoperating exactly as it should. It's turning a robust rebuiltseries 3 transmission, which shifts sharply and cleanly, completewith overdrive unit. It has been completely inspected and verifiedby Burro 4x4, and has no mechanical faults. A brand new exhaustsystem keeps it running quietly, and all hanging hardware wasreplaced. The engine is running cleanly on a Pertronix distributorand Flame Thrower coil. This ensures the ignition system will runmaintenance free for years. All brake components have been replacedand adjusted, and are working as expected. This braking system isin excellent functional condition. The car is sitting on 4 brandnew Michelin off road tires. The interior features a set of newExmoor trim elephant hide seats all around, including galvanizedrear bench seat brackets. Being an early Santana, there are only afew minor differences to the British manufacture, including metricodometer and speedometer, as well as Spanish information plates.The frame, while not galvanized, is very strong and solid, with norust evident whatsoever, and is painted black. The body is coatedin Land Rover Bronze Green, with very few minor imperfections. Itfeatures a brand new Exmoor Trim canvas top, with a new galvanizedhoop set for support. All electrical components are functional, andthe side marker, turn signal lights and brake lights areilluminated by rare all glass fixtures.
