With early history unknown, this E-Type has seen Jaguar collectorownership with documented service history since the early 1990s. In1996 it was sold from Mr. Leslie Alexander of Boca Raton, FL to Mr.Charles Baltimore, also of Boca Raton, FL. During Mr. Baltimoresownership, anything and everything was addressed to ensure thisE-Type running as smooth as new. Servicing included theinstallation and upgrade to triple Weber carburetors, new exhaustsystem, new radiator core, rebuilt gearbox, rebuilt wiring harness,new alternator, rebuilt clutch, new water pump, new brake mastercylinder and servo, new heater core, new belts and hoses, rebuiltball joints, new control arms and new tie rod ends. Service workamounted to over $25,000 spent with Executive Motor Works of BocaRaton, FL. Mr. Baltimore sold the E-type in 2000 to Mr. Tony Berger ofWaccabuc, NY. Mr. Berger continued the religious servicing of hisE-Type with maintenance performed by Briarcliff Classic & ImportedCar Service in Briarcliff, NY. Mr. Berger sold the E-Type in 2017to its next owner, another Jaguar collector who also serviced withBriarcliff Classic & Imported Car Service, then traded intoAutosport Designs. We sold it to a very good client and friend ofASD's who wanted it to be absolutely superb in every respect.During 2020-2021 approximately $70,000 was spent to achievethis. Restoration work included: A bare metal repaint in its originalcolor, rechroming of all bumpers, a full retrim of the interior,new convertible top with the addition of a cockpit tonneau cover,3-point retractable seat belts, a full service tune up and finally"5" new tires. This E-Type is complete with all service records, jack, wheelhammer and spare wheel. A recent road test attests to the carperforming excellent in every way and its being ready for immediateuse and enjoyment.
