This 1970 Land Rover 88 Series IIA is a left-hand-drive example that was assembled by Ensmbladora Automotriz S. A. in Costa Rica, where it was acquired by the current owner in 2017 and subsequently imported to the US. Power is provided by a 2.25-liter diesel inline-four linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in orange over black upholstery and is equipped with 16? steel wheels, manually locking front hubs, a removable hardtop, center-facing rear bench seats, and a Panasonic CD stereo. This 88 Series IIA is now offered on dealer consignment with import documents and a clean Florida title. The truck features aluminum body panels finished in orange and is equipped with a removable Safari hardtop with alpine windows. Additional equipment includes a roof rack, a rear tow jaw, fender-mounted side mirrors, and a folding windshield. Steel 16? wheels wear 235/70 BFGoodrich K02 tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel drums. The cabin features a front split-bench and inward-facing cargo-area jump seats upholstered in black vinyl, and interior appointments include sliding windows and dashboard air vents. A Panasonic CD stereo and speakers are mounted overhead. Centrally mounted instrumentation consists of a 130-km/h speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 18k kilometers (~11k miles). Total mileage is unknown. The 2.25-liter diesel inline-four sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The battery was replaced in 2023..
