1971 ALFA ROMEO MONTREAL ONLY 24.823 KM. VERY EARLY FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION. VIN NUMBER INDICATES IT IS 62ND CAR BUT THE FIRST SEVEN VIN NUMBER WAS PREPRODUCTION VEHICLES. ACCORDING TO CENTRO DOCUMENTAZIONE ALFA ROMEO IT WAS MANUFACTURED ON 30th APRIL 1971 AND SOLD ON 4th MAY 1971 IN MODENA. It is the 55th regular production Montreal. No front spoiler on the first 100 vehicles. I purchased this Alfa on May. 2011. It was sitting in a garage for years before. I believe it was imported by an Air Force pilot from Italy. I shipped the car to Europe to get it back on the road again. The following repair were performed: - replace one of the Bosch ignition module (using an original Bosch that I had from my Espada)- complete brake job- new muffler- replacing the missing door panel and window regulator- clean the fuel tank and lines- new fuel pump- necessary body work and paint (original color)- new tires It does not required a restoration, or extensive mechanical work, because it has very low kilometer. It is an original car with new paint, tune up. GORGEOUS COLOR AND PAINT. We just fixed what was wrong. Interior is all original (except trunk area which was redone)THE COLOR IS LITTLE DARKER RED IN REAL LIFE. Looks like my camera is not the best. This is a 45 year old Italian car. Do not expect a brand new car. It was not flawless when it left the factory. If you have or had other Italain classic you know what I'm saying. Still available at ListedBuy!
