Otherhighly advanced features of the Montreal included a ZF-sourced5-speed manual gearbox, independent front suspension, asophisticated live rear-axle suspension, and disc brakes allaround. Today, Montreal remains coveted for its great looks andrenowned driving experience that must be experienced first-hand,even by today?s demanding standards. Only as many as 3,925 examplesof the Montreal were constructed in all, with the majority ofproduction through 1977 sold new in Europe and far fewer importedto North America. A February 2017-datedinvoice on file with the Montreal documents the work performedthere.
