This 1977 Fiat 124 Convertible runs and drives great and would make a great restoration project while you can still drive and enjoy it. The engine starts up, runs strong and shifts without any problems. It is equipped with 4 wheel disc brakes and all gauges work properly. Seats and top are in good shape. The sporty convertible body was designed and built by Pininfarina, an Italian coach builder who also designed the Ferrari 275GTS. Pininfarina built Spider bodies for Fiat for the entire production run. The 1977 model has Pininfarina badges on the lower front fenders. The 1977 Spider came with real wood on the dashboard and steering wheel, when most cars used plastic imitation wood grain appliqus. The rear quarter side windows could not be rolled down, but lowered automatically when the top was put down. The car also came with a small rear seat, but was too small to be comfortable for adults and did not come equipped with seat belts. This sporty Convertible also comes with an extra set of factory wheels and tires. Still available at ListedBuy!
