This 1984 Pontiac Firebird "KITT" re-creation is powered by a5.0-liter V8 engine backed by an A200R automatic transmission.Equipped with many of the custom features of the original "KITT"from the TV series "Knight Rider," the dash is adorned with all thelights and gizmo controls, including two communication TV screens.It has the yoke steering with "Knight Industries" insignia. Itcomes with a "Knight" license plate, a David Hasselhoff "MichaelKnight" life-size cutout and framed memorabilia. This "KITT"re-creation was personally built and owned by Red Harden, whohelped build the original "KITT." Harden often did custom work onthe cars of famous actors and his most notable pieces launched himinto cinema car fame. CARFAX shows damage report on 02/23/2004:Accident reported, vehicle involved in a single vehicle collision,disabling damage reported with another motor vehicle; and ExceedsMechanical Limits title issued on 04/01/1995, 09/29/1998,03/24/2000 and 02/03/2001.
