The result issomething like a German translation of an old big-block Cobra. This1998 BMW Z3 M Roadster is a highly sought after black-on-blackconvertible. The vehicle has just under 52,000 miles on it. The caris equipped with fully functioning fuel gauge, temperature gauge,speedometer, odometer, tachometer, amperage meter, oil pressure,clock, air conditioning, leather seats, power windows, power locks,all the original manuals, original tools, and convertible top. NewEuropean style headlamps and taillights have been installed andrewired. The vehicle features a customized stereo system ($3,500)with 240-watt x 4 speakers, 10-inch subwoofer, all new wiring, anda large touchscreen that includes Bluetooth & Apple CarPlay. In thelast five months a former BMW mechanic has replaced the headgasket, thermostat, new driver's side window motor, fuel filter,stainless-steel high-performance exhaust, spark plugs, and wires.In addition, all fluids have been changed including oil, brakefluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid, coolant, powersteering fluid, and hydraulic fluid for the convertible top. Inaddition, a new piston for the convertible top has been installed.The Michelin tires appear fairly new, and it is unknown if theclutch is original or a replacement. The seller is meticulous aboutthe care of his vehicle, and it shows with the clean appearancewith virtually no evidence of use. The only noticeable flaws arethe rear bumper has recently been touched up in one spot, and thereare a couple tiny knicks in the hood as to be expected by the age.The driver's seat is just beginning to show some faint wear. Thecurrent owner has owned it less than a year and found that noteveryone in the household wants to drive a manual transmissionvehicle, which prompts the sale. There is no evidence of ever beingin an accident.
