The DB7 Vantage Zagato is derived from DB7 - the most successfulAston Martin of all time. It boasts revised body styling withcoachwork by Zagato of Italy. It incorporates a number of dynamicelements, which have been finely engineered to offer a newdimension to the Aston Martin driving experience. Available only as a two-seater, the DB7 Zagato has a largedistinctive radiator grille and accentuating rear wheel arches,while the carefully detailed features such as the reverse/fog lightcombination provide graphic evidence of intricate handcraftsmanship and quality that has become an Aston Martintrademark. The car is powered by an up-rated 'GT' version of the V12, withpower up to 435 bhp and torque to 410 lb ft. The active sportsexhaust system with rear muffler by-pass valves - as used on theV12 Vanquish - provide the DB7 Zagato with a very distinctiveexhaust note. The DB7 Zagato is also fitted with the DB7 GTquick-shift gear lever and special multi-spoke 19" alloy wheelswith revised offset to give a wider track (8x19" front, 9�x19"rear), equipped with 245/35 ZR19 front and 265/30 rear low profiletires. Braking is supplied through Brembo discs as well as anup-rated brake booster unit as used on the V12 Vanquish for afirmer and more consistent pedal feel. This DB7 Zagato Coupe has been well-known to Autosport Designs. Ithas had three owners from new, the first being the famed Rock andRoll Hall of Famer, Mr. Eric Clapton. The second, collector, Mr.Juan Barazi, and the third, previous owner, Mr. Jim Taylor.Purchased in 2007 through well-known and respected marquespecialist Nicholas Mee & Co., this Zagato Coupe had only 1,799miles from new. Today, it shows 3,788 miles from new. Always caredfor and serviced as needed, complete with its owner's books, carcover in numbered bag, and First Aid Kit, this Zagato Coupe iscertainly one of the best of its kind available with regard tocondition as well as ownership provenance from new.
