2004 BMW M3 Convertible The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series,developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series sincethe E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. Upgrades over the regular 3Series models include engines, handling, brakes, aerodynamics,lightweight materials and various interior upgrades. For consignment, a 2004 BMW M3 convertible. It is shown in asomewhat rare Phoenix Yellow, black canvas top, and black leatherinterior. 19 inch G Craft Superstar wheels add to the "look" andthere are just a few minor faults on the body, which remains inoverall excellent condition. ExteriorPhoenix Yellow bathes the all steel panels and neoprene bumperswhich are body matching on this car. Gaps are well minded, andtrimmings and badging are all in excellent condition. The carsports the aluminum trim package, xenon headlights, and a backupsensor system. The black canvas convertible top is electricallylowered and raised and works nearly perfectly. This top has a glassrear window, and when down, a black plastic tonneau covering. Onthe back just below the bumper we see dual dual exhaust on eitherside peeking out from the bottom of the rear roll pan. 19-inch GCraft Superstar wheels are wrapped by low profile ContinentalExtreme Contact tires. The driver's rim edge shows slight curbing,and a very small crease is seen on the passenger's side fender lip.A casualty of a parking lot incident. InteriorBlack leather covers the inside of the passenger compartment whichincludes front racy smooth black leather buckets and a rear 2 plus2 seat stretching across the back. The leather is in excellentcondition and the buckets are power operated. A center consoleraces through the buckets and up to the dash. Here we see a storagecompartment, this lid doubles as an armrest for the frontpassengers. 2 cupholders and a small shifter is noted just prior tothe rise to the dash. Also here are various toggles for differentdriving modes. As we move up to the dash front push button climatecontrols with a digital readout and a larger head unit screen isjust above. This has the DVD stereo controls and a navi, butcurrently does not function. Fronting the simple curved dash withblack faces and white numbers and red pointers is the sportysteering wheel which has various controls within the spokes of thiswheel. In back of the wheel we note paddle shifters for the SMG,(sequential manual gearbox), transmission. This can also be donewith the shift lever, or just put into full automatic for a worryand hands free cruise. Black carpeting is on the floors. A shoutout to the trunk where a custom M cutout in the panel houses Xtant10 inch subwoofers, 2 Rockford Fosgate amps, a 1.5 frat capacitor,crystal components, coaxial and Farenheit DVD 35. A system wheninstalled costs $9,500.00! DrivetrainUnder the hood is the factory 3.2 liter DOHC Inline 6 cylinder. Ithas EFI, and a 6-speed semi-automatic transmission SMG type. Therear axle weighs in at 3.64 gear ratio. UndercarriageSome upgrades for AC Schnitzer include a strut tower brace, andperformance exhaust. All else is stock including independent coilsprung suspension on all 4 corners and power disc braking allaround. Drive-AbilityShe fires right up and off like a flash to the test track. Hereperformance is over the top, braking solid, and it handles likeit's on rails. I noticed the check engine light is on, and asmentioned the head unit display is inoperable, disabling the naviand DVD screen. The stereo can pump out some serious Db's An overall nice example with a color that grows on you, and plentyof sporty features, nice leather interior, electric convertibletop, and M3 performance. Snappy 19-inch wheels and all I can saynow is SCHNELL!!
