Please let them all load on your computer, it will take some time because of the size.This is a very nice example of a '48 Chevy coupe, customized into a convertible. Please let all the pictures load (there are over 130) to see the fine condition of this classic Chevrolet street rod. The current owner began the restoration in 1999 and completed it in 2001. The car started life as a very solid standard coupe that was chopped 4-1/2 ". A custom convertible top was fabricated with a metal frame and Mercedes Benz soft top material, the top weighs 45 lbs. and is easily removed by two people. The engine and transmission are from a 1989 Camaro Z-28 and both have been rebuilt. The front end was converted to a Heidts Mustang II suspension, it has Posie rear springs, power steering, power brakes (front disc, rear drum), Painless wiring, Vintage heat and air conditioning, VDO gauges and Newport engineering wipers.
